ORGANISERS:
HUNGEXPO Co. Ltd. is Hungary’s major exhibition company
organizing 22 to 27 events each year at Budapest Fair Center. The
large variety of fairs and specialized trade shows enable companies
to be exposed to view of the representatives of Hungarian and international
market.
Although Hungexpo was founded in 1968, its origins goes back to the
beginning of the century. Budapest was the first European capital
to hold trade fair. In 1925 the Budapest International Fair became
a founding member of UFI.
Beyond the exhibition organisation another main scope of its activity
is the lease of the Budapest Fair Center, as an exhibition and conference
venue to other events.
In order to improve the quality of its services, Hungexpo obtained
the ISO 9001 certification (first in the Central Eastern European
exhibition industry), furthermore the activity of Hungexpo Co. Ltd.
was honoured with the National Quality Award.

CENTREX International Exhibition Statistics Union
is the top exhibition industry organisation in Central Eastern Europe
for promoting transparency, reliability and real market-value of exhibition
statistics and of growing collaboration in the region.
CENTREX was founded in 1997 at the initiative of the market leader
exhibition organisers in Central Eastern Europe (Poznan International
Fair, BVV Brno, INCHEBA Bratislava and HUNGEXPO). From 1999 the Union
was admitted as associate member of the UFI (Union des Foires Internationales).
The members strive for transparent, measurable, internationally acceptable,
comparable, audited exhibition statistics, to promote these data and
collaboration internationally, and to publish their data open wide
in their annual publication and at their Internet site. Since the
launch Czech INCHEBA Praha, Vystavisté Ceské Budejovice,
Hungarian Szeged Kamaraexpo, V-Trade Exhibitions Debrecen, Polish
Trade Center Kielce and Ukrainian Euroindex Ltd Kiev have joined,
too.
Over and above monitoring the transparent statistics CENTREX runs
a comprehensive joint promotion of fairs and exhibitions as useful
marketing tools, regularly organises exhibition-related international
conferences, forums for exchange of experiences.
